Theory on Bigfoot

I think the evidence for Sasquatch is substantial and I believe that it exists. That being said, I have a theory as to what it is.

I believe that there is much evidence to support that we as human beings were engineered by another race of beings from somewhere else. There is a mountain of texts from the ancient world to support this and plenty of scientific evidence to back that up. 

Is it possible that Bigfoot is simply what would be the dominant hominid on this planet had other beings not interfered with evolution here? Maybe it was already here all those years ago and was modified to be human? Maybe there was a common ancestor back then that has become the Sasquatch and would be the dominant hominid?
